The Firm was established in 1996 by Tony Greenman, a specialist in these fields, author of the leading textbook on copyright law in Israel and lecturer on entertainment law and internet law in Israeli academic institutions. Amongst others, the firm represnts many production companies in the film and television industries and has acted as legal counsel for many of the most successful Israeli cinema films over the last years, both during production and distribution. The list of productions we have acted for includes Ajami, Walk on Water, Waltz with Bashir, The Syrian Bride, Three Mothers, Jellyfish, For only $9.99, Nina's Tragedies, The Bubble, Lemon Tree, Shiva, Ushpizin, Broken Wings, Noodle, Paradise Found and Vulcan Junction. In addition, we represented the directors/writers of Sweet Mud and Yanna's Friends. We also act as legal counsel for many television productions, including the acclaimed series "Polishok", "Everything is Honey", The Ran Quartet, "Love Hurts", Room Service, Candid Camera and "Lost and Found" and numerous documentary films, such as "Children of the Sun", "Dear Perla", 18, Paper Dolls and "Guilty of his Death".
In the field of litigation. the firm represented Israel’s film and television directors in precedent setting proceedings which resulted in the recognition of directors as authors and copyright owners. In addition, we represnted the Israeli producers, creators and crew  unions in major litigation before Israel's Supreme Court and before the Antitrust Tribunal, concerning regulation of the Television Industry.  We also successfully defended the Israel Sports Betting Council in a lawsuit filed by the English Premier League and other British professional football leagues, who claimed copyright in the football fixture lists. The court held that the fixture lists are in fact unoriginal facts, not protected by copyright.
In addition, to the above we advised Israel’s film directors and screenwriters in the formation and establishment of their own copyright collecting society.
We also manage portfolios of Trademarks for Israeli and foreign clients, providing registration services as well as policing. We are a member of INTA.
In addition, we advise internet companies on legal issues concerning privacy and data protection, advertising law, search engine optimization and other matters.
Today, the firm’s clients include leading Israeli film and television production companies, broadcasters, authors, publishers, internet and high-tech companies, academic institutions, musicians, artists, advertising companies and other owners of intellectual property.
 
The firm also provides arbitration and mediation services in the fileds of intellectual property, media law and cyber law.

The previous edition of this book has been cited on numerous ocassions by Israeli courts, including the Israeli Supreme Court, and is also compulsory reading in many courses on Copyright Law at Israeli Law Faculties and Colleges.
